- Message your regular players directly with the invite link, not just a group post.
- Post the same link in your WhatsApp group for everyone else.
- Run your next scheduled session through ClubPad. Don't try to backfill old ones.
- Once your regulars are booking and paying through ClubPad, stop using Spond for that job.
Tips
Message your regulars first. A link dropped into a busy group chat gets buried. A short note to the five to ten people who play every week gets you a critical mass before you post it more widely.
Pick your next session, not a past one. Publish the next night through ClubPad and let that be the first one people book there. Don't recreate old sessions. History starts from here.
Keep approval on for the first fortnight if you're opening the link to a big group. You'll see every name as it arrives, and you can switch to instant join once the regulars are in.
Retire the old tool deliberately. Once your regulars have joined and you've run a couple of nights, say so in the chat: bookings are in ClubPad now.
Two places to book is worse than either one.
