Open ClubPad on your phone, or go to my.clubpad.app, and start a club. There are six short screens, then you tap Create my club. You don't import a list of members. People join from an invite link afterwards.
You can skip the optional parts, like a logo, and add them later.
- Club name and web address. Logo optional.
- Country and timezone.
- One venue. A photo can wait.
- How you get paid: Revolut, cash or bank transfer, and how long players have to pay.
- Approve new members, or let them join instantly.
- House rules: edit the four starters, or leave them.
- Share the invite link from the Your club is live! screen, then post your first session.

Brand your club
Type the name people already use. If the group chat says Killiney Wednesdays, don't invent a more official version on night one.
The same screen sets your Club homepage address, clubpad.app/clubs/your-name. Keep it short, because it's what ends up on a poster. The app checks it's free as you type.
A logo is optional. Tap Upload a logo if you have one; square works best.
Club colour isn't on this screen. It's in Admin → Theme: ClubPad green is free, and your own colour comes with Club Plus. Tap Continue.

Country and timezone
The screen asks two things:
- Country, under Where is your club based?. Nothing is filled in for you, and you can't go on until you pick one. It sets your club's currency and which paid features you can get.
- Timezone, under What timezone do you play in?. This is filled in from your phone. Check it, because every session time and reminder uses it.
Tap Continue.

Add your venue
A venue name and an address. Tap the address field and search for it. That address is what opens Maps when a member taps it later.
One venue is enough to post a session. You can add more, and photos, any time in Admin → Locations. Don't wait for a photo: one from a real night beats a stock one.

Getting paid
Everything here is optional, and you can change it later in Payment Settings.
- Under How players can pay, switch on Revolut, Cash or Bank transfer. Revolut and Cash start switched on. At least one has to stay on.
- For Revolut, your Revolut handle, and a Revolut.me link if you have one.
- For bank transfer, the account name and IBAN.
- Payment reference prefix: a short code for your club, like SUN. Leave it blank and you get PCB.
- Currency: euro or pound.
- Auto payment deadline: Auto-cancel if unpaid gives players 24 hours from booking, with 48 and 72 there too. No deadline lets them pay any time.
With the deadline on, ClubPad reminds the player halfway through. If they still haven't paid, the booking is cancelled and the next person on the waitlist gets the spot. Last-minute bookings skip the deadline. The payments guide covers the rest.
These become the defaults for every new session. Tap Continue.

Bring your players in
Choose how new members join:
- I approve them: you see every join request before anyone can book, invite links included.
- Join instantly: anyone with the link can book straight away.
For a club among friends, instant is fine. Keep approval on if you'd rather see each name. You can change it later.
There's no invite link on this screen. It comes on the screen after you create the club. Tap Continue.

Set the house rules
Four starter rules are already there: cancel 24 hours ahead, pay by the deadline, be on time, and look after the courts. Tap a line to change it, leave one blank to drop it, or tap Add a rule.
Players see these when they join. You can change them any time in Admin → Club Info, so don't spend long on them now.

The last screen says Your club is live!. Under Share your club is your invite link, with buttons to share it or copy it.
Below that, the app suggests what to do next: post your first session, then welcome your players. Tap Take me to my club when you're ready.
- Share the link with your regulars. Message the people who play every week directly. A link dropped in a busy group chat gets scrolled past.
- Post your first session. Date and time, venue, capacity and price. Set the capacity to what your courts can take. Under Bookings Unlock, choose Live Immediately so people can book as soon as they join. The payment deadline from setup is already filled in.
- Welcome people as they join. If you turned approval on, don't leave them waiting overnight.
Don't type up nights you've already played. Your club's history starts with its first session in ClubPad.
The free plan runs the whole club. Once the club has five members, counting you, you can publish its public page from Club Page in admin. Anyone still waiting for your approval doesn't count yet.
Club Plus (€25 a month per club) adds your own colour, unlimited mixer nights and the Mini-tournament format. You don't need it to start.
