Most tools stop once they know who is coming. ClubPad runs the night as well: it works out the rounds and the courts, and takes the scores as each game finishes. The results stay in the app afterwards.
What a club app should cover
- SessionsA time, a venue, a price, a cap and a waitlist. Members book from their phone, and booking stays open right up to the session. Change the time and everyone sees it straight away.
- MembersRoles for admins, coaches and players. A join link you can put in the group chat. Approve each name yourself, or let people join instantly.
- PaymentsEvery booking gets its own reference, so you can tell who paid for which session. With a payment deadline, the app reminds people and frees the spot for the waitlist if they don't pay. Last-minute bookings pay on the night.
- Mixer nightThe Live Mixer: five formats on the free plan, and Mini-tournament on Club Plus. You tap the winning team on each court as its game finishes, and the night ends on a podium: the top three players, or the winning team in a Mini-tournament.
- Club HubClub news and upcoming events, in one place members can check.
- HistoryEvery recorded night, with its results and photos, for your members to look back on.
- Your public pageAn optional page at clubpad.app/clubs/your-name, so new players can find you on Google. You can publish it once the club has five members, counting you.
Creating a club is free, joining one is free, and there will always be a free plan.
What I would ignore in a comparison
- A feature list that does not mention the night. If a tool only collects replies, it is doing what your group chat already does.
- Every sport and every age group. A tool built for every sport charges you for features you will never use, and it still does not know what a court or a round robin is.
- A percentage fee on cash and bank payments. On a €5 session, a percentage is real money over a season. In ClubPad, cash, Revolut and bank transfer are free on every plan.
- Screenshots instead of a demonstration. Ask the company to show you a real club night in their app, from the first round to the final score.
What it costs
The free plan runs a whole club:

Club Plus is €25 a month per club (€69 a quarter, or €249 a year) and adds:

- Scheduled announcements
- More photos, and the Matchday layout, on your public page
